- Who am I? I'm a wife, a mother, a friend, a daughter, a sister, a diehard Parrothead, and a pastor. My family hails from the amazing, eclectic, tree-hugging, and beautiful Pacific Northwest. Together with my husband and kids, I live in Central California after stints in the South and the Midwest. We are all loving being back on the Left Coast along with our dog and two cats - all named after Lord of the Rings characters (it was the kids' idea...really).

My friend,Kim, and I always say that the world would be a much better place if people would just do what we say. Oh, but they struggle and in the end we get our way. You'll get your way!
My CPE supervisor, a pastor with the ELCIC, always said that she cussed more with her collar on. An attempt to dispel the Midwestern pastor myths, I guess. Then again, she was Canadian. Maybe I should be Canadian. I'm certainly not going to stop cussing just because I'm ordained...
