The musings of a girl from West Coast suburbia living out God's call in beautiful Central Cal.
C'mon in and read about the drama, the whining, the joy, and the irony
as she attempts to balance ministry, motherhood, marriage, and moving.

You Are An ENFP |
You love being around people, and you are deeply committed to your friends. You are also unconventional, irreverent, and unimpressed by authority and rules. Incredibly perceptive, you can usually sense if someone has hidden motives. You use lots of colorful language and expressions. You're quite the storyteller! In love, you are quite the charmer. And you are definitely willing to risk your heart. You often don't follow through with your flirting or professed feelings. And you do break a lot of hearts. At work, you are driven but not a workaholic. You just always seem to enjoy what you do. You would make an excellent entrepreneur, politician, or journalist. How you see yourself: compassionate, unselfish, and understanding When other people don't get you, they see you as: gushy, emotional, and unfocused |
You Have Many Alpha Tendencies |
You're forceful without being intimidating. You're confident without being vain. A perfect mix. |

At Your Worst: You are greedy, self centered, impulsive, and insatiable. Your Fixation: Gluttony Your Primary Fear: Deprivation and pain Your Primary Desire: To be satisfied and content |

You're never one to take life too seriously, and because of it, you're a ton of fun. And although you have a great sense of humor, you are never superficial. Deep and caring, you do like to get to the core of people - to understand them well. However, any probing you do is light hearted and fun, sometimes causing people to misjudge you. |
Your Blogging Type is Confident and Insightful |
You've got a ton of brain power, and you leverage it into brilliant blog. Both creative and logical, you come up with amazing ideas and insights. You find yourself revising and rewriting posts a lot of the time. You blog for yourself - and you don't care how popular (or unpopular) your blog is! |
You Are Likely a Third Born |
At your darkest moments, you feel vulnerable. At work and school, you do best when you're comparing things. When you love someone, you tend to like to please them. In friendship, you are loyal to one person. Your ideal careers are: sales, police officer, newspaper reporter, inventor, poet, and animal trainer. (Oh good...more options if this pastor gig doesn't work out! Yeah, right, me as a cop?!?) You will leave your mark on the world with inventions, poetry, and inspiration. |
Your Brain's Pattern |
Your mind is a firestorm - full of intensity and drama. Your thoughts may seem scattered to you most of the time... But they often seem strong and passionate to those around you. You are a natural influencer. The thoughts you share are very powerful and persuading. |

You're a pretty quirky person, but you're just normal enough to hide it. Congratulations - you've fooled other people into thinking you're just like them! |

pastors shouldn't swear, pastor.
yeah, dammit! what's with all this swearing????
[i was going to say something a bit more colorful, but i wasn't sure what kind of audience your blog attracted. so i reigned it in a bit.]
... also i hope things go ok with the house ;)
My friend,Kim, and I always say that the world would be a much better place if people would just do what we say. Oh, but they struggle and in the end we get our way. You'll get your way!
My CPE supervisor, a pastor with the ELCIC, always said that she cussed more with her collar on. An attempt to dispel the Midwestern pastor myths, I guess. Then again, she was Canadian. Maybe I should be Canadian. I'm certainly not going to stop cussing just because I'm ordained...
Just wait until you swear at a parishoner!
